• they represent a happy conjuction of two traditions: the renowned Russian violin school and the Czech school of quartet playing



• in 2001 the Quartet - with the consent of Josef Kapral and by arrangement with The Kapralova Society of Canada, they re-named themselves The Kapralova Quartet



• performed concert tours of Japan, Spain, Israel, Germany, Switzerland, Canada
