- Chamber Orchestra Quattro Prague was founded in 2003 by present chiefconductor Marek Štilec. Since 2003 the orchestra became important part of music scene of Prague and Czech Republic. Among most prestigious Czech halls (such as Dvořák´s hall in Rudolfinum and Smetana´s hall in Municipal house) orchestra played in several European´s music centres (Dresden, Münster – Germany, Warsaw – Poland, and toured in Austria, Slovakia, Cyprus.
- Orchestra also recorded 5 CD, with international critical acclaim. Orchestra is formed by the best young czech musicians and takes its name from the so called Quattro group - four significant czech composers (Luboš Fišer, Sylvie Bodorová, Otmar Mácha, Zdeněk Lukáš)
- In 2005 the orchestra was named „Orchestra in Residence“ at the Gustav Mahler´s Birthplace at Kaliště.
- Orchestra very often collaborate with members of renowmed orchestras – such as Wiener Philharmoniker, San Francisco Symphony, Wiener Staatsoper, Münchner Philharmoniker, Bayerischen Staatsorchester, Nürnberger Philharmonie).
- Also, the orchestra is frequent guest of important festivals – such as Prague Spring, Mahler Jihlava festival , Janáček May, Mozartiana Iuventus a.o.
- The orchestra colaborated with Czech Television and Radio.
- The Quattro Orchestra has collaborated with star-singers - Štefan Margita, Ivan Kusnjer, Simona Houda Šaturová, Zdeněk Plech, Lars Grünwoldt, Alena Miro, Markéta Mátlová etc. Also it has cooperated with Soňa Červená.
- The Orchestra has performed with many well-known soloists - Maria Isabel Siewers (Argentina), Guido Segers, Heike Matthiesen , Igor Malinovsky, Jaroslav Svěcený, Kateřina Englichová, Irvin Venyš, Jana Boušková, Jitka Hosprová, Lubomír Brabec, Jan Ostrý, Martin Kasík, Hansgeorg Schmeiser.
- Quattro Orchestra has also performed with the ARD Competition winner Pawel Zalejski.
- The Orchestra also took part in performance of Chamber Balet Group of Pavel Šmok and in several Opera performances - La serva padrona (G. B. Pergolesi), Romeo and Juliet (J. A. Benda) and Theatre Behind the Gate (B. Martinů).
